Sardonic Science: The Early Years

In response to recent inquiries on the subject, and in the interest of full disclosure, Dr. S must take this opportunity to confess that not all of the results achieved in the early days of the Lab's cloning endeavors were up to Sardonic standards. One of the experiments that comes to mind is the unfortunate episode of the Lincoln Park Trixies:

Undeterred by this setback, however, Dr. S did what all great scientists do when faced with palpable failure: he applied for a federal grant. DOD answered the call, and while the results were less than perfect, the client seemed pleased — though Dr. S has never been able to figure out why the grant check was drawn from a Brazilian bank...

Finally, the Doctor would be remiss if he neglected to acknowledge the exemplary results achieved recently in the Midwest using more traditional Rural Recombinant methodology.

As someone who has been sick in bed all day watching "The Last Days of WWII" on the History Channel, I find this this hilarious.

Or it could be the fever.

Take heed, O thou armpit of Satan, for you will go on a diet of crunchy, unsweetened locusts!

I did, my pet. I spent the holiday with the extended family in the City of Brotherly Love, and an enjoyable time was had by all — with the exception of Dolly the turkey.

And how was the feast chez vous et le Dilphin?

Let's not speak of the horrid, lamb feast that they tried to pass off as Thanksgiving.

I haven't quite recovered yet.

I miss you. Sniff.

Come visit.
